Asora no Chaya sits on the second floor of the Iseseki main store, along the approach to the Outer Shrine of Ise Jingu. Early mornings bring mike no asagayu, a rice porridge served with turban shell, abalone, sea bream or spiny lobster; middays bring whole simmered abalone over kamameshi rice, a Minami-Ise sea bream set, and green curry with aosa seaweed. The rice is Isehikari, grown for the restaurant under contract.
