Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

Interstellar Inc. ("we") operates Ise-Shima Real-Time Tourism Info (ise-shima.intstr.dev, "this site"). This policy explains how information is handled on this site. In case of any discrepancy, theJapanese version prevails.

1. We collect nothing from you directly

This site has no accounts, contact forms, or surveys. There is nothing for you to fill in, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. We do not set any cookies of our own.

2. Analytics

To understand how the site is used and to improve it, we useGoogle Analytics(GA4), provided by Google LLC. Using cookies, it sends Google the pages you view, the referring site, your approximate region, and your browser and device type. It does not include information that identifies you by name.

The collected data is handled under Google's privacy policy. If you prefer not to be counted, you can disable it through your browser's cookie settings or Google'sopt-out add-on.

3. Location

Only when you choose "sort by distance" on a list such as the shops page do we ask your browser for your current location. That location is used solely inside your browser to sort the list and work out distances. It is never sent anywhere, including to our servers, and it is not stored. It is discarded when you leave the page.

The permission prompt appears only after you tap the button. If you decline, everything works as usual apart from the ordering. You can withdraw permission at any time in your browser settings.

4. Stored in your browser

Only when you tick a place as visited on the 125 shrines page, which places you ticked is saved inside your own browser (local storage). It is not sent anywhere, including to our servers. It contains nothing that identifies you, and nothing is saved unless you tick something.

You can delete it at any time with the “Clear” button on that page. It is also lost if you clear your browsing data, and it does not carry over to another device or another browser.

5. Requests to third-party services

Displaying this site involves requests to the services below. Your IP address and browser information reach them, and each handles that data under its own terms.

Only when you click a link does a request reach that destination, such as Google Maps or a local tourism association. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your data.

6. Sharing with third parties

Apart from what is inherent in using the services listed above, we do not provide the information to third parties, except where disclosure is required by law.

7. About the information shown

Weather, transport, opening hours, and similar details are collected automatically from official sites and open data. We cannot guarantee that they are accurate or current. Please check the official source for each place before you set out; sources are credited on every page.

8. Changes

We may revise this policy as needed. Any revision will be published on this page.
