Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

Around the Naiku shrine, the shops of Oharai-machi and Okage-yokocho almost all close by about 17:00. Later in the day you will find more places open along the Geku approach and near Ise-shi station, or around Toba station.
