About this place

Beside the north approach, behind the sacred kitchen. It stands in a closed area and is worshipped from in front of that kitchen. It is the store for the sake offered to the deities, and enshrines the same deity as its counterpart at Naiku. Quiet now, but until early modern times cook houses and purification halls stood around it and this was the heart of the Geku rites.
