About this place

In a grove left standing among the houses of Takabuku, Misono. The camphor tree that shades the grounds is said to be around a thousand years old and has become the emblem of the shrine. The deity governs the harvest, and the name Usunono comes from the moorland that once spread here. Agata-jinja, a matsusha, shares the site. Walking into the settlement you will see two groves: this shrine is the one on the right, Takabuku-taisha on the left.
