Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

The last stop within the grounds of Takihara-no-miya. The sound of its name suggests long life, and in the Edo period it drew crowds praying for longevity. The deity oversees the food offered to the deity of Takihara-no-miya. The building faced south until 1874, when it was turned to face west.
