About this place

A large grove standing alone in the rice fields, its grounds carpeted with moss. Locals call it Kanamori-san. The deity guards a tributary of the Tokida river, and Kano-Mimae-jinja, eighth in rank, shares the same sanctuary. Many burial mounds, among them the Bozuyama group, have been found nearby.
