About this place

Inside the sacred forest of Geku, not connected to the main approach. Turn at the site of the old Toyomiyazaki library and climb two mossy flights of steps to reach the sanctuary. The goddess here hunts the boar that ravage the grain; Inaka-jinja, which guards the spring that fed the sacred rice fields, shares the same hall. Trees tall enough to darken the daylight stand all around.
