Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

It shares a single building with Kozaki-jinja and enshrines the same deity, Arasakihime. Tradition holds that Kozaki-jinja was founded because this deity came out to meet Princess Yamatohime as she travelled through Futami, and the shrine takes its name from her. Some 280 stone steps lead to the summit.
