Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

On raised ground to the right of the main sanctuary of Takihara-no-miya. Custom within these grounds is to visit Takihara-no-miya, then Takiharanarabi-no-miya, then this shrine, then Nagayuke-jinja. The deity is associated with the water of Takihara. The roof is thatched rather than shingled.
