It shares a single building with Otsuchimioya-jinja, and a camphor tree nearly a metre thick stands on the approach. The deity governs the water drawn into the ricefields. The original site was a small wood out among the paddies a little way off, known as the grove of the imperial daughter, where a marker post still stands.
