About this place
Among the trees known as Chaya-no-mori, beside the Isuzu bridge. It enshrines the guardian of the land together with deities of water, and its close tie to the sacred rice fields of Jingu places it high among the sessha. It shares a single sanctuary with Ujinonuki-jinja, a matsusha. Its own rite, the otaue-sai, follows the rice planting with a dance offered before the sanctuary.
