The well from which the water offered to the deities of Geku is drawn. There is no shrine building, only a roof over the well. It stands in a closed area, so it is worshipped from the end of the lane that runs on past Otsu-jinja. A priest draws one pail of water here each morning, and tradition forbids him to let his own reflection fall on the well.
