Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

Behind and to the right of the main building of Tsukiyomi-no-miya. The sessha and massha of the 125 shrines normally have no offering box; this one does. The moat around three sides of the grounds is what remains of a branch of the Miyagawa that once ran here. The deity is held to have opened this land for settlement.
