Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

Some 50 m beyond Wataraikunimi-jinja. The deity once guarded the port town at the mouth of the Isuzu river and the harbour of Ominato. Its original site had been lost, so in 1873 a new building was put up inside the Geku precinct and the shrine was revived there. Kaminomii-jinja lies further along but may not be entered.
