About this place
On the path to Taka-no-miya, just left after crossing the turtle-shaped stone in front of Geku's main sanctuary. Once a minor shrine, it was raised to auxiliary rank — together with Kazahinomi-no-miya at Naiku — after the wind credited with repelling the Mongol fleet in 1281.
