Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

One of the four sanctuaries inside the enclosure at Tsukiyomi-no-miya, dedicated to Izanagi-no-Mikoto of the creation myth. He and the deity of the neighbouring Izanami-no-miya are husband and wife.
