Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

On a low mound in Fujisato — the mound is a burial tumulus known as Kurumazuka No. 1, named for its resemblance to a court carriage and called Maruyama-san by local people. The deity is Ogoto-Kannushi, ancestor of the Watarai family who served as hereditary priests of Geku. Within the same enclosure stands Tanoe-Omizu-Mimae-jinja, dedicated to his daughter Miyako, said to have served the imperial priestess.
