Hamayo Main Store (Oharai-cho) stands on Oharai-cho, the street leading to the Inner Shrine of Ise Jingu, and deals in shirasu whitebait. Inside you can eat a bowl of raw shirasu landed in Ise Bay, a two-tone bowl pairing raw and steamed shirasu, deep-fried local oysters, or a fried prawn curry. Oyster tsukudani simmered in the house sauce, aosa seaweed from Toshijima Island and the shop's own steamed shirasu are sold to take home.
