Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

Isokko - Shima Dining is a two-minute walk from Ugata Station in Shima and cooks with fish and shellfish landed locally. Meals come as set trays built around sashimi platters, grilled shellfish, tekone-zushi of sashimi marinated in the restaurant's own sauce, and makanai-don rice bowls. Spiny lobster is served from October to May, abalone from April to September and oysters from October to March.
