Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

Henbaya Shoten Iseshi Station stands three minutes on foot from JR Iseshi Station. Henbaya has four shops in Ise, and this one carries only henba mochi, the rice cake the maker is known for. There are seats to eat in, and the day's mochi can sell out well before closing time.
