Silver Week traffic restrictions
From September 19 to 23 the Ise-Nishi interchange exit on the Ise Expressway is closed, and from the 20th to the 22nd the Ise interchange exit is closed as well. From the 20th to the 22nd a shuttle bus runs from the car parks around Sun Arena. You cannot drive up to Naiku, so please plan your route around it.

About this place

Akafuku Naiku-mae Branch is one of the shops of Akafuku, whose mochi is a specialty of Ise. You can eat in or take boxes home. Inside, the mochi comes with matcha, joined by Akafuku-gori shaved ice in summer and Akafuku zenzai in winter, while the takeaway counter carries gift boxes, summer-only mizu-yokan and Akafuku hojicha tea bags.
